Villa Astor Wedding on Amalfi Coast

Embodying the quintessential elements of summer living at the Amalfi Coast, the Italian destination wedding of our US based couple Amanda and Jack was inspired by legendary sea mermaids, the authentic Italian Riviera aesthetic and a citrusy colour palette to create an array of bespoke designs for this multi-day celebration. From a fun and flirty Italian meets nautical themed welcome cocktail party at the picturesque Amalfi venue with its iconic yellow striped details and stunning Sorrento views, to a relaxed “Dolce far niente” beach day of sunbathing, sipping on Aperol Spritz and diving in the cool waters of Nerano, these experiences set the tone for the spectacular and whimsical wedding celebration at Villa Astor. The design debut of our bride’s botanical embroidery Monique Lhuillier gown, whimsical mermaid inspired details on the custom stationery illustrations, organic floral arrangements, custom tableware and lighting, the chic yellow navy stripes, characteristic of the Italian beach life and mismatched designer bridesmaids’ gowns were only some of the details that paid homage to our couple’s love story unfolding into the enchanted Amalfi summer.
